Paintball is an adventure game where people try to “tag“ the other team using a paintball maker. Typically, there are two teams battling it out. It is a great way to experience action and adrenaline in a safe healthy setting.

Paintball can be enjoyed by a wide variety of ages. Typically, it is best for ages 9 and above however, there are many low impact paintball options which can be enjoyed by younger players. Ultimately, it is up to the parents discretion as to if their child is mature and responsible enough to participate. Different locations may have different options for age criteria as well.

There are so many people playing paintball for different occasions. It is a perfect activity to celebrate birthdays. Many corporate groups come out as a team-building event. Additionally, we see toms of church groups, family outings, and individuals looking to have a blast in a fun healthy activity. There is also a large number of people who have embraced paintball as a sport and compete in tournament and special event scenarios.

Paintballs are water soluble and biodegradable. We love the environment and paintballs do as well.

This is a common question people ask about paintball. While getting hit can sometimes “sting”, most of the time, you can barely feel the hit. There are a couple of ways to avoid unnecessary discomfort. Wear appropriate clothing and respect rules to not shoot up close. Also, there are new “lo-impact” versions of paintball which is sweeping the nation in popularity. If millions are people are playing and loving it, we know you will too.

Wear comfortable clothing that you can run around in and do not mind getting dirty. While the paint will wash out, you can get dirt and grass stains as well. Bringing a change of clothes for the car ride home can also be a good idea.
We also recommend a knit cap or some kind of head cover as well as gloves. This will act as extra padding.

Recreational play, also known as rec ball, is how most paintball games are enjoyed.   It is where groups of people come together and play in different fun games formats.   The goal of rec play is to have fun whether you win or lose.  Rec play can be enjoyed with a an endless number of game formats, such as capture the flag, attack and defend, total domination, and more.

The is another level of play called tournament paintball.  These are typically teams that practice together and compete in games with set rules of the sport.   Typically, teams are either 5-man, 7-man, or 10 man for these events.   Tournament paintball is usually a much faster played game and the equipment is usually higher tech than you would normally see with rental gear.

Scenario games are a cross between recreational play and tournament play.  Although the goal is for a team to win over another team, it is usually much more laid back and the focus is on enjoying the strategy and uniqueness of the event.  Some scenarios offer themes, such as a reproduction of a famous battle, alien invasion, or even a mystical theme such as Big Foot.   Most scenario games are annual events and involve awesome props and twists on rules that make the games extremely fun to play in.
